Architecture-Driven Modernization is
used to modernize existing application systems. Existing application
systems are defined as any production-enabled software, regardless
of the platform it runs on, language it is written in, or length of
time it has been in production. An existing or “legacy” application
is one that has entered the maintenance and evolution mode. Some
goals of Architecture-Driven Modernization are to revitalize
existing applications and to make existing applications more agile.
This directory of ADM tools based on OMG standards-compliant
products is free both to list and to search.
